We chose Green Valley Painting based off reviews only, and it was one of the best decision we've made for our new home. They are phenomenal to work with. Three major things stood out to me while working with them:

1. I specifically wanted Benjamin Moore White Dove for my walls, but when I tested out Kelly Moore's match of White Dove (this is the paint company they prefer to use), I felt like the color was not the same. When I asked Casey, the project manager, about it, he assured me that he would make sure that Kelly Moore matched the paint correctly to the Benjamin Moore sample I wanted, and he did. That may not seem like a big deal, but when you are paying thousands of dollars to paint the entire interior of your house, and you want a specific color, it matters that it's done correctly and Casey made sure that it was. He also was extremely helpful in guiding decisions regarding trim/ceiling color since he used to work for Kelly Moore and has a lot of expertise.

2. We had a miscommunication on the length of time the project would take, and had movers scheduled to come while the work was still being done. Casey and the rest of the crew went above and beyond to work with us to make sure that our household goods could be delivered on time, even going as far as to put extra guys on the job to get it done so that we didn't have to reschedule our move.

3. Their work is phenomenal. They painted all interior walls, ceilings and trim for us (including doors), but the thing that stood out the most to us was how they fixed the trim that the previous homeowners had installed. Before, it had cracks and looked DIY. After Green Valley, it looks brand new and 100% professionally installed with all the previous flaws gone.

I don't know how they're pricing compares since they were the only quote we were able to do, but I believe they are well worth the cost of their services. Every interaction with this team from the owner, Ian, down to the members of the crew was professional and positive. We cannot recommend them enough!

Ian Lillibridge, owner of Green Valley Painting, gave us an estimate on our proposed kitchen remodel. He addressed the painting financial issues to our satisfaction and provided potential contact names for some carpentry work and new countertops. We accepted his bid and contacted the contractors. What was amazing was the way these three separate contractors performed with no overlap or excessive delays during our major (to us) project. Specifically Ian was extremely professional as he helped us determine the extent of the painting portion of the project and as he ensured the work was done expeditiously and thoroughly. His team was on time and worked very efficiently. After completion, we examined the area and came up with a short punch list of minor items needing further attention. We advised Ian and his team arrived the next day, eliminating our punch list expeditiously.

Having spent twenty years working with the Corps of Engineers I had some expectations of what a good project completion experience would be. I thought the accomplishment of this job far exceeded my expectations and was done in a most timely manner. I would not hesitate to recommend Green Valley Painting for any project. Before we moved into our house in Silverado Springs, we hired Green Valley Painters for a major repaint.  Everything was white – the paint- the carpet – a very sterile look!! Ian was a godsend working with our decorator in picking colors.  His crew was experienced- neat-on schedule and their pre-paint prep was excellent… Then we discovered he was also a general contractor and he took over.  His knowhow was contagious!!! He hired, scheduled and supervised: new hardwood floors- interior lighting-tile bathrooms- stack tile fire places – granite slab in the kitchen and too many other projects to list…

​We bought a 4400 square foot  home in the Green Valley highlands that had been empty and neglected for 3 years. Since that time we have remodeled every surface and Green Valley Paint Company has been a key part of our extensive project. They have prepped and painted interior walls, ceilings, doors, trim, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, built in bookcases, fireplace mantel, garage doors, epoxied our garage floor, and stained exterior decking.They show up on time, are very competent, thorough, and professional. We are extremely happy with the experience and the results and can recommend them highly.We have just bought another home in Martinez and we are taking Ian Lillibridge and his crew from Green Valley Paint with us!

I began working with Green Valley Painting, Inc. when I still lived in Wisconsin, planning my move to California.  Ian was prompt, thorough and very helpful while I made long distance decisions.  The initial job included painting, drywalling and performing on a tight schedule prior to my moving van arriving. Ian's people did an excellent job and completed everything on time, even as I added new requests.
